Answer: Try reversing the photo cells. That works most of the time. Or spread the photos further apart away from the opening to minimize the exposure to the sun.

Answer: Check to see if the top section of the door is stuck under the header. The door may be shorter that the openeing height. Make sure that the original locking assembly has been disabled.

Answer: There really isn’t a way to insulate existing wood doors. You can however make sure that the perimeters are sealed completely to eliminate air infiltration. There are weather-strips that can be added to assist.
